It’s Tabata….not Ciabatta.  Tabata is an interval training workout featuring a format of working hard for 20 seconds and resting for 10 seconds. This style of workout will build strength and increase stamina in just four minutes. If you’re looking for a new program to add to your routine, you will want to give this a try!  All fitness levels are welcome, modifications are always made.

​​Myo-Fascial Release Techniques Workshop-Dates to be Announced

This 2 part workshop will teach you how to incorporate myofascial release techniques into your self care routine.

Learning Self Myofascial Release (SMFR) is one of the kindest things you can do for yourself. Fascia is one interconnected system of connective tissue that runs head to toe and throughout the body. It is our scaffolding for the whole body’s structure. It supports, connects and separates our organs, tissues and muscles. It not only wraps around each muscle, but it is around and between the muscles cells. This interlinking web is why massaging or rolling out one part of your body can relieve pain in another part of your body. Our fascia contains immune cells and sensory nerves, and it is our largest sensory organ. Often when we think we have an issue with a muscle, it is actually the fascia around the muscle that has adhesions from becoming dehydrated and tight. In these workshops, you will learn how to break up the restrictions in the fascia and restore fluidity and flexibility to your muscles and fascia by using Myofascial balls and other props. This can relieve pain, release stored emotions, help correct posture, increase range of motion, enhance pre and post exercise performance and help your body heal itself.
SMFR is a practice you can learn to do at home for a few minutes each day or several days per week that will deliver huge benefits to your body and your yoga practice!
Workshop 1 will be an introduction to SMFR so we will cover various muscles throughout the body, with an emphasis on the upper body. Workshop 2 will concentrate on the hips, legs and core areas.

​This class will blend yoga poses with fitness, such as strength and endurance training. We will target arms, legs, glutes and back and focus on core stability. Yoga fit is a great workout to help build lean muscle and stamina while teaching you flexibility and also how to relax!
